The Informed Choice: Cosmetic Surgery Consulting

Several procedures can take years off a face that has wrinkles and sags. Brow lifts, facelifts, and neck lifts have been done for many years now, and different surgeons have perfected a variety of ways to do them. There are also skin treatments such as laser resurfacing and non-surgical procedures including chemical peels and injectables (such as Botox) that can restore the glow of youth to your face.

Last year, 131,106 people had facelifts (usually combined with neck lifts), 586,662 had laser skin resurfacing, over 1.3 million had chemical peels, and over 7 million had Botox injections.

Here's the breakdown for the costs (surgeon fee only):

          Facelift $6,792.00

Chemical peel $718.00
Laser skin resurfacing $2,418

I had a neck and facelift several years ago when I noticed the first signs of gravity and decided to nip them in the bud. I did it early, before I truly needed it, because I don’t believe it drastic changes—looking like a SharPei one day and smooth as a baby’s bottom the next! Another advantage to having smaller nips and tucks along the way is that you can maintain as you go, having a little something done every few years, and you simply look as though you just don’t age much.

Always remember, any surgical procedure carries risks, so be an informed patient!

Thank you for all your concern and help in dealing with the many problems consequent to my face lift. You have given me both comfort and strength and just at the time when I needed them most! I only wish I had known about you and services before my procedure!
